Save Our Environment And Save The Human Race
Our environment is in a pretty bad shape today. Everyone is talking about global warming, and what is going to happen to the Earth a few years from now. A lot of directors have been inspired to film and produce movies about the end of the Earth and our race. We watch those movies and we get paranoid and somehow, it causes panic.
But these might not be far from the truth if we do not take care of our environment the way we should. Global warming has been an issue way back, more than 10 years ago. Environmentalists have been campaigning about too much use of CFC’s and the destruction of the ozone layer. They have been campaigning about how to take care of the environment and if possible, use environment-friendly products. However, these fell on deaf ears.
Could it be because we thought that our race is so superior that it will not happen to us? And probably we thought that we can find ways on how to develop technology that can benefit mankind and the environment. How wrong we are. We thought that the Earth will not run out of its supplies but it did. And now we are suffering because of our actions. We are now trying to bring back life on Earth but it will take years for it to replenish its resources.
The resources of the Earth that we have exploited and abused have taken years and years to develop and yet we wasted it in just a snap of our fingers. We never took the time to consider that if these resources are depleted, what are we to do? How are we to survive? We have been so full of ourselves that we forgot to think that the Earth does not regenerate as fast and needs proper care.
And so nowadays, we are trying to slowly rebuild Earth and try to bring it back to its normal state and condition. You might see people wearing Baby Phat Scrubs while cleaning the streets or the park. It is essential that we need to be more aware of our surroundings and not throw our trash anywhere. We need to know that we cannot immediately bring back Earth’s glory. But by doing little deeds, we can help the environment.
Being Earth friendly is a bit hard to do as it will require self-awareness. But it needs to start from you. You cannot teach people how to be environment-friendly when you yourself do not know how to be one. Simple things as putting the trash in the trash can, segregating the trash from biodegrable to non-biodegrable ones or just putting your small pieces of trash in the breast pocket of your Landau 7594 or your bag when there is no trash can in sight.
To save the human is to save the environment. We are dependent on the Earth and its resources. Without them we are nothing. So start today for tomorrow might be too late. A small act is big when done by everyone.
