You may also apply deep heating rubs or cold or hot compress. Although some claim that there are no benefits with heating rubs, some also claim that it is effective. So just try it if it works for you. Some would prefer hot than cold compress and vice versa. Try both and see which is more effective then use that every time you have back pains.
